Vern Davis is Senior Vice President of the Consumer Packaged Goods Team and a principal at Protis Executive Innovations. As the Team Leader for the Consumer Products team, Vern is responsible for leading the sourcing and recruitment for human capital talent acquisition with the Consumer Products Team's client partners. Vern's team's objective is focused against positions within Sales, Category Management, Trade Marketing, Consumer Marketing and Consumer Insights. He has been with Protis Executive Innovations since 2000. Since 2000, Vern has billed in excess of $1.3 million.

Vern's mission includes developing an exciting and thriving business in the Consumer Products arena. This includes building and developing a team of professionals that has laser-like focus on Protis' core business. The results stand for themselves as Protis' Consumer Products team consistently ranks as one of the top in the network of 1100 + offices globally. In addition, Vern leads the strategic partnership development for the firm.

Vern brings the culmination of vast knowledge and business acumen, broadened and enriched with rewarding experiences from his past business life to his role Protis. Prior to joining Protis, Vern built a successful career in Consumer Products over a span of sixteen years, beginning with four years at SmithKline Beecham and twelve years with United Distillers and Vintners, from entry level merchandiser to Vice President. His accomplishments and achievements resulted in numerous personal awards and acknowledgements in addition to the hiring and training of dozens of professionals who were promoted under his leadership.

While at Smithkline Beecham, Vern was inducted into the Beecham Circle of Champions for the #1 district in the United States and was awarded the Ring of Achievement for the top sales team in the nation. Highlights of Vern's contributions during his career at United Distillers & Vintners included initiation of the first On-Premise California statewide management group and implementation of Management for Value and New Generation Growth philosophies and standards with key distributor and broker partners.

Vern's degree in Industrial Engineering and General Business was acquired at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Vern and his wife Darolyn, live in Indianapolis with their three children.
